Storyline
The Homesman is a 2014 American western drama film directed by Tommy Lee Jones and co-written with Kieran Fitzgerald and Wesley Oliver, based on a novel of same name by Glendon Swarthout. The film stars Tommy Lee Jones, Hilary Swank, William Fichtner and Meryl Streep. It was selected to compete for the Palme d'Or in the main competition section at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival.[1] The film is scheduled to be released in the United States on November 7, 2014 and will premiere in the UK at the Cambridge Film
